A figure in a cowboy hat appears, brim pulled low over her eyes. She tilts her head up to survey the wasteland before her and shakes her head sadly as a lone tumbleweed blows past. 

“It is past time to abandon the land of Blog,” she says, “for the more fertile and populated realm of Newsletter.” 

In other words, I’m at last joining the cool kids and starting a newsletter! I’ll leave my blog posts up for posterity’s sake (and who knows, maybe blogs will become popular again, like how terrible ’80s fashion keeps resurfacing), but announcements about short story publications, behind-the-story notes, and whatever else I might want to write about will be moving to the newsletter. 

My first “real” newsletter will go out in early October to coincide with publication of my short story “The Blooms of Sorrow” at FIYAH, and there may be a soft launch newsletter before then, so please subscribe if you’re interested!
